As my administration has said from the beginning, “we can do hard things.” But we need your help. So, let’s get to work!
I want to thank everyone for your patience and cooperation during the COVID-19 state of emergency. Ascension Parish residents have risen to the challenge and because of that we have been able to “flatten the curve.” As we slowly and methodically begin to reopen the Parish to normal social and commercial practices, we must all be mindful that the coronavirus is still out there, and we need to continue following the precautions established by the CDC: social distancing, hand washing, and wearing masks in public. Let’s not let our guards down!
