||Review and implement training needs for parish and first responders.

||To provide the public with information on emergency preparedness and emergency response actions, with an emphasis on all hazards. Conduct training in schools, health care and medical facilities.

||Responsible for coordinating with regional volunteers and faith based organizations,
||To report the coordinating efforts of law, order and security agencies within Ascension Parish.

||Responsible for the sheltering, evacuation and rescue of domesticated animals.
||Advises committee on emergency response equipment and training.

||Responsible for contra flow updates and what resources are available from Ascension Parish School Board and the State Dept. of Transportation.
