Services of the Purchasing Division:

• Maintains a Centralized Purchasing System
• Processes all Requisitions and issues Purchase Orders for all Departments of Parish Government, as well as Fire Districts #1, #2 and #3, and East and West Ascension Drainage Districts, for the procurement of goods and services.
• Publicly bids items as required by the Louisiana Public Bid Law
• Processes all Requests for Qualifications and Request for Proposals
• Maintains a Purchasing Policy to insure all purchase of goods or services are in compliance with Louisiana Public Bid Law and Ordinances adopted by the Parish Council
