The Ascension Parish Recreation Center is proud to announce the creation of APIL, a league for children ages 4-13, both with and without developmental disabilities, who live in Ascension Parish.

APIL is funded in part by the Jambalaya Project, a project by the Resource Center on Psychiatric & Behavioral Supports (a division of the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities) made possible by a grant awarded by the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council.

Invitation is extended to children with or without disabilities to participate together in non-competitive recreational activities such as street hockey, bowling, baseball, and arts & crafts.
