Having the necessary supplies and resources on hand can significantly improve the well-being and safety of individuals and families in the aftermath of a hurricane.
Disaster supplies kit for your family is a collection of basic items your household may need in the event of an emergency. Prepare your emergency supply kit in an airtight storage bag or container and place supplies needed by your family. A basic emergency supply kit should include water, food, medicine, a battery powered flashlight with extra batteries and a cell phone with backup battery chargers. Consider adding additional items based on your family’s needs.
