We ask that any of the files you need to get to us be sent on the customer portal, if possible, through MGOConnect.org instead of email or fax. Using the program for this feature allows anyone from our staff to access the document and make sure it is accepted in a timely manner.
For questions and concerns regarding permits, inspections, and/or plan review you can email buildinginfo@apgov.us.
The Building Department issues building and occupancy permits to move, build/construct, remodel or renovate buildings and/or mobile homes in Ascension Parish. All contractors who do work in the four major crafts (Building, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing) must be licensed by the state of Louisiana and the Ascension Parish Building Department.
