Clint Cointment

Sincerely,

A Message of Appreciation and Progress

I am honored to continue serving as your Parish President for another term and I am equally thrilled to share some exciting updates we’ve made in our beloved parish.

Our commitment to service, especially through our all-new community outreach group Serve Ascension, has been evident through initiatives like the monthly food commodity giveaway, Household Hazardous Materials Day, Trash Bash, and more. In Q1 of 2024 alone, we contributed over 500 combined service hours to support our neighbors in need.

Events such as Rock the Country at Lamar Dixon and Ascension Parish Day at the Louisiana State Capitol have showcased our community's vibrancy and unity. We've celebrated significant milestones, including the opening of the West Ascension Early Learning Center, finalized significant transactions like the sale of the sewer system to NWI, and embarked on crucial infrastructure projects like water meter changeouts in Donaldsonville and improvements to drainage and roads across the parish.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the tireless dedication, teamwork, and professionalism of the staff here at Ascension Parish Government. Their commitment to serving our parish is commendable, and I am immensely grateful for and inspired by their contributions.

As we look ahead to the rest of 2024, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to building a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come.

Thank you for your continued support. Here’s to growth, prosperity, and unity for all residents of Ascension Parish!
