Individuals and/or families are evaluated by a mental health counselor to identify emotional and behavioral concerns.  Treatment may include individual and family counseling with psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring as needed.

Clients complete a comprehensive evaluation with a substance abuse counselor to identify underlying concerns that contribute to addictive behavior.  Treatment identifies changes in behaviors, attitudes, and life styles necessary for recovery.  Substance abuse treatment is conducted in a group setting.

Cost

The agency is supplemented by a parish property tax and accepts Medicaid, insurance and individual payments.  A sliding scale fee beginning at $5 is available to those who demonstrate need.
