2026 Fall Elections
OPEN CONGRESSIONAL GENERAL and OPEN PRIMARY
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
This is an OPEN election, unlike the Closed Party Elections that ran in the Spring of this year. You can vote however you would like. You do not have to vote with your registered party affiliation.
Registration Deadline
- In Person/By Mail/OMV – Monday October 5, 2026
- Online – Tuesday, October 13, 2026 using the Geaux Vote App, the kiosk in either the Donaldsonville or Gonzales Office, or visiting www.geauxvote.com
Deadline to REQUEST an Absentee by Mail Ballot (other than Military and Overseas)

Early Voting

- Tuesday, November 3, 2026 voting hours will be 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM. You must vote at your precinct on Election Day.
