As always, Stay Informed, and God Bless.

While many places in America are dealing with unfortunate and inhospitable economic climates, Ascension Parish is fortunate to be enjoying a wave of increase. More businesses are being built; more homes are being sold, more jobs are being created, and more opportunities in other places than we’ve seen in a while. We continue to benefit from the industrial expansion along Highway 30 while planning and coordinating more growth along our Westbank.
As more and more companies continue to want to invest in our rich area, we continue to find ways not only to partner for business but to have that business positively affect our community. One such way has been our Early Childhood Education Center in Donaldsonville. Located in the historic Lemann Building, this is but one of the steps being made to transform our children’s lives. Using funds from the Juvenile Justice Program Fund, the goal is to reach children at the most impressionable ages. Providing them with the guidance and education that studies show creates a foundation for more stability for themselves and their families.
In addition to these investments in our children, we are excited by the promising ventures on the horizon. There are more than $7 Billion in proposed projects for our parish. This would create hundreds of jobs in several sectors and inject much more money into our local economy. Projects such as Clean Hydrogen Works, Air Products, and more poise us to forecast growth for 2023 and beyond.
